The locals call it "George W's palace". The luxurious US embassy being built in Baghdad is the size of 80 football fields, and will house 8000 workers and thousands of military personnel. So less of an "embassy" then, and more of a "permanent base", and at $592 million, I guess the plan has always been to stay.
